Lansdale Park - Visiting Houston's Park, One Week at a Time

Tunnel at Playground at Lansdale Park Houston
Address:  8201 Roos Rd, Houston, TX 77036

Lansdale Park, in Sharpstown, has a big playground, walking trail, basketball pavilion, gazebo and community center.

Lansdale Park Teeter Totter Houston
We visited on a weekday and found the park mostly empty, but with lots of activity at the schools on both sides of the park.

The playground has lots of tunnels, ladders and slides. There is also a very cool 4 seat teeter totter!

Landsdale Park Playground Houston
There was a toddler play structure and a bigger play structure... and both were fenced in on all sides.

Landsdale Park Rockwall
The restrooms were open when we visited. For community center hours, check HERE.

Lansdale Park Community Center Houston
This park also has a sign saying a splashpad is coming. The neighbors say the sign has been up since the pool was removed... but I don't have a date for when it will be installed.

    hey there! Lansdale will be getting a splash pad by spring. They are also building a new pavilion. There was a groundbreaking ceremony for this a couple weeks ago.
