Gail Reeves Park - Houston Parks Weeks... A New Day, A New Park!

Gail Reeves Park is next to Herod Elementary School and it is another really good park! Giant green space for running, ball field, tennis court, play structures and pavilion. The equipment is new and free parking is available on the street!

There are 2 play structure, both with cool features like ladders, rock walls, slides and more... and the spring rider is a jeep (which gives the park extra points according to my youngest).

When we visited, there were was 1 other family, plus some activity from the school. The park is visible from the street (but far enough that you are not close to cars).

There is a lot of sun on the playground, but the pavilion is shaded, so you can cool off with a picnic if you plan stay a while. Take a look at the pictures!
