Easter Egg Hunts & Activities in Houston for 2016!

Easter comes early this year! If you are looking for Easter activities and egg hunts in Houston... look for the closest church and likely you will find a family event. On a 10 minute drive this afternoon I saw 4 big signs for Egg Hunts and Easter Bunnies!

Below is a list of some of the reader's favorite Easter events... and if you have one to add, let us know! (Note that Discovery Green will NOT have the Toddle Egg Hunt this year because of all the Final Four activities in Downtown Houston.)

Blessington Farms Easter EGGstravaganza – March 18, 19, 2016 & March 25, 26, 2016- 10:00-5:00pm – Blessington Farms Simonton

Enjoy picking your own U-Pick strawberries. Activities also include hayrides, barrel trains, giant slides, animal encounters (chickens, goats, camels...yes, camels!!) and the grand opening of the new Reptile Grotto with "Tank" the turtle.

Children will enjoy hunting eggs and excited to redeem them for candy and prizes.

Strawberries are $5/lb.(no admission cost) Farm Funland is $10 per person (children 18mos. and under are free). Fishing is $10 per pole with admission to Farm Funland. Egg hunt is $3 per child with paid admission to Farm Funland.

Easter Orange Hunt - March 26, 2016 - 11:00am Sharp - Orange Show Monument

Bring the kids out for the annual Easter Orange Hunt! Let them loose in the colorful maze of the Orange Show Monument as they search for candy-filled eggs, oranges and other fun prizes!

Before you head out there, construct your very own "marshmallowy" masterpiece out of the beloved sugary candy PEEPS and participate in the Fourth Annual Houston PEEPS Art Contest!

$5 donation per child is recommended.

Hunt for eggs, meet the Easter bunny, feed the animals and more... for $10.

Easter Egg Hunt - March 26, 2016 - 10:00-3:00pm - 7 Acre Woods Conroe

Hunt for eggs, visit the petting zoo, play on the zip lines and more... for free. Tickets can be purchased to meet the Easter bunny, get your face painted and other activities.

Community Egg Hunt - March 26, 2016 - 10:30am - Bear Creek Church Katy

In the field behind the church is an egg hunt that is open to all kids. Come enjoy snacks, games, inflatables and fun for the whole family! Free.

Easter Bunny & Petting Zoo - March 26, 2016 - 3:00pm - FUNdamentally Toys

Visit with the Easter Bunny and enjoy our fun outdoor petting zoo. They will also have treats for everyone and goodies for the kids to take home.
