I've always loved Wilson Spark Park and have been just a little jealous of the kids that get to play here each day during school.
Our last review was years ago, so let share the latest!
It still has the traditional play structure, the castle, pergola, music stations and soccer field. There is also has the outdoor classroom, chickens (through a fence) and track. Our favorite climbing logs are missing (probably because they were getting too weathered) and the back part of the soccer field and track is fenced off for construction.
This playground is used by the school during the day, but open to all after hours. The Spark Park Program develops school parks into neighborhood parks as a way to increase green space in Houston. Wilson Spark Park gates open after school activities end and throughout weekends, holidays, and summer months for everyone to enjoy.
